Naturally they can distinguish good seafood from poisonous and even deadly fish. They are skilled seamen, spending long hours on boats. Many of the people live in poverty, but because of the brutal demands of their work, the tributes from District 4 are often grouped in the "Career" category for their strength and dexterity.

Finnick is practically the definition of cocky. He knows very well how to manipulate a crowd and work people in his favor. His appearance and strength give him prime assets to market to the people of the capitol. He's very brave, and despite his humorous nature, he's very kind. He is a trustworthy accomplice, and he'd do anything for the ones he loves. It may not always come through on the outside, but he truly is a compassionate person. He's very clever, and he knows how to work a rope into just about anything.
